Gentle April Fool's Prank. . . sort of

A couple of weeks ago someone on my team distributed this letter of resignation cake picture. I thought it was kind of funny; there was a lot of commentary about the young man's shoes. I responded to the group that if anyone was thinking of giving me a letter of resignation cake, they had better make sure the cake was chocolate.

So what happened today? I was writing on my whiteboard in my office which meant that my back was mostly to the door. I heard one of my project managers as she walked in, turned to see the team crowding into my office and they were holding

I'm sure my face registered shock as they chortled as they shouted "April Fool's!!". Well, at least the cake was chocolate. And quite yummy I might add.
